Attractions

Our villa is located in an upmarket development right in the heart of Florida's "vacationland". The Development is situated less than a mile from the I192 in Kissimmee, Florida. There you will find a variety of Restaurants, Shops and other attractions. The east / west interstate is only 10 minutes away and allows easy access to all the major attractions this area has to offer, including Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios and Kennedy Space Centre, to name but a few.

There are ample golf courses available for those who like to take advantage of the wonderful weather to improve their swing and a whole host of other amenities to keep you occupied

 

Wal-Mart is at the junction of the 192 and Bass Road, by Medieval Times between marker 14 & 15. It is an amazing shop. Its open 24 hours sells virtually everything cheaply !. It has a large food market section which is very useful when you first arrive.

Publix is a food supermarket with an excellent bakery, it has a larger selection of food than Wal-mart. There are two shops along the 192 markers 11 - 12 and east  of 15 192.

The Flee Market has approximately 400 stalls selling new items at reasonable prices. It is open seven days a week from 10am to 6pm.

The Florida Mall is probably the largest single shopping Mall in this part of Florida.  It has about 200 shops and 6 department stores. There is an excellent food court with food from around the world. To get to the Florida Mall turn right onto the 192 for about 4 miles, turn left info Orange Blossom Trail (highway 441) sign posted Main Street. The mall is on the right close to the junction of Sand lake Road.

Kissimmee Old Town is particularly good for quality gifts and crafts. It has a carnival atmosphere with street performers and a small fun fair. It is at the western end of highway 192 between marker posts 9 -10 (look for the big wheel). Saturday nights they have a cruise of old cars at 8pm and a live band playing - well worth visiting!.
